Hello, my name is Dan Morgan. I go by the handle of digdan, which is short for Digital Dan, a nickname given to me by my friends as a testament to my long standing tech personality. A short timeline of myself :

1978 – I was born; oddly so was BBSs, MUDs, E-mail Spam, and computer worms

1986 – Started programming on a Commedore 64

1988 – Wrote first full program in Basic on a 8086, a text adventure game

1990 – Received a 2400 Baud modem as a present

1992 – Establisted a BBS

1993 – Used a primenet account to access IRC, and as a bridge for FidoNet for the BBS. First exposure to the “Internet”

1993 – Wrote BBS Door games and communication routines in Turbo Pascal. First exposure to Object Oriented Programming.

1997 – Graduated Borah High School with advanced placement in Art and Computer Science

1997 – Worked for a Cyber Cafe in Boise, Id, working on SuSe Unix and helped building small websites.

1997 – Worked for a Cyber Cafe in Eugene, Oregon, again learning basic HTML

1998 – Worked for Albertsons corporate office building scripts

1998 – Worked at RMCI, first exposure to technical support, online application development, billing systems, and the ISP business

2000 – Worked at BoiseCenter.net, first exposure to flash
